About Jump Up
Jump Up is a free endless jumper online: a vertical platformer where you guide Boing, a small springy robot, up a never-ending tower above a sleeping city. Boing bounces by himself every time he lands, so you only steer left and right. Each run lays out a fresh tower of hover pads, moving lifts, crumbling crates, holograms, springs, spiky drones and purple blobs, and the climb gets harder the higher you go.
Like the rest of the arcade, the jump up game looks and sounds like a mid-2000s phone game: chunky pixels, a night sky with parallax towers and a chiptune soundtrack. It starts instantly and keeps working offline once you have visited the page.
How to play
- Choose New Game, then Endless or Daily Challenge.
- After "READY?" Boing starts bouncing. Steer him onto the next platform above.
- Run off one side of the screen and you reappear on the other: use the wrap-around as a shortcut.
- Squash enemies by landing on top of them. Touching them from the side or from below ends the run.
- Fall below the bottom of the screen and it is game over. Your score is the best height you reached.

Tips and tricks
Steer early, then let go
Boing keeps some momentum, so start moving as soon as he leaves a platform and release the key before you arrive. Holding the direction until the last moment is the most common way to overshoot a small pad.
Wait on safe ground
A green pad never breaks. If the next platform is a hologram that has just faded, or a lift that is sliding away, keep bouncing in place until it comes back instead of jumping blind.
Treat crumbling crates as one-way tickets
You only get one bounce from a brown crate, so pick your next target before you land on it.
Save the stomp for the right moment
Squashing a drone or blob gives an extra-high bounce and 5 bonus metres, but only from directly above. When an enemy hovers next to your path, go around it. Jetpacks and propeller caps make you untouchable while they last.
The Daily Challenge
Every day at midnight UTC a new tower is generated from the date, the same for everyone in the world. You can retry it as often as you like; only your best height counts on the daily leaderboard. Once you have mastered the climb, try the desert sprint of Dino Run, the one-button flight of Flappy or the combo practice of the Invoker Trainer.
Jump Up FAQ
Is Jump Up free to play?
Yes. Jump Up is completely free, runs in your browser and needs no download or account. Signing in is optional and only used for the online leaderboards.
Can I play this endless jumper offline?
Yes. Open the page once while connected and your browser keeps the whole arcade. After that Jump Up loads and plays with no internet at all, on a plane, in the subway or anywhere without signal.
Is Jump Up the same as other vertical jumpers?
It belongs to the same genre as Doodle Jump and other endless vertical jumpers, but Jump Up is an original game. Boing the robot, the tower, the enemies, the music and the code were all made from scratch for NoInternet Arcade.
How do I steer with tilt on my phone?
Open Options and switch Tilt on, then tap the screen once. On iPhone and iPad the browser asks for motion access; allow it and tilt your phone left or right to steer. The on-screen buttons keep working too.
How is the score counted?
Your score is the highest point Boing reaches, in metres. Every enemy you squash from above adds a 5 m bonus. Falling back down never lowers your score.
What is the Daily Challenge?
A tower that is identical for every player during one UTC day. Everyone faces the same platforms, enemies and power-ups, so the daily leaderboard is a fair race. A new tower appears at midnight UTC.
How do online high scores work?
Your best heights are always saved on your device. Sign in with your email to also post them on the Endless and Daily Jump Up leaderboards.
